you really don't have an excuse to cancel school for a "Snow Day". You're going to be cooped up in the house anyway, so why not continue with (school) business as usual, right?! :-)

I have a homeschooling friend who cancels school on the first big snowfall of the season, and sends the kids to play! I'm guessing you'll have more of those days ahead of you. What a winterland!
